Many people know that Renton (or Le Renton as we’ve been calling it as of late) is known for its plane assemblies with Boeing but few know of its more recent role as a center for beer tap design. In this past week’s Seattle Times you can read an article that gives the low down on a local company, Taphandles Inc, that has been coming up with interesting and functional designs for micro-brew companies throughout the Northwest.
If you go to their website you can see several of the beer tap handle designs that they’ve created over the years. There are many big names (Samuel Adams, Red Hook) as well as popular local NW breweries (Alaskan, Widmer, etc) on the site.
