March 26th 2011, No Fluff Savvy Home Buyer class in Seattle 10am-Noon

We’ve got lots of opportunities coming up for those interested in learning about today’s real estate environment.  Our popular class for learning about credit and lending has another class scheduled for March 26th, 2011 in Seattle. Details below:

No Fluff Savvy Home-buying Seminar””FREE

Wondering if now is a good time to buy real estate? With so much information and misinformation out there, it can be very confusing. Get savvy and come meet our experts to get the No Fluff facts, and find out if the time is right for you!  First and foremost, it’s important to know the financial aspects and impact of credit and lending so this class starts off with a healthy dose of information in these areas.

We’ll be covering:
1) credit today; how to be prepared, including how to improve your credit to meet lender’s more stringent qualifying standards
2) what lenders are looking for in a buyer in both residential and investment purchases. Typical lending requirements and programs available.
3) what to expect from an agent in addition to info on the transaction process and who/what is involved
4) the ins and outs of today’s real estate market in Puget Sound.

This isn’t just for 1st time buyers as the playing field in lending has been a moving target since about mid-2007 after the financial crisis hit and began affecting everyone’s ability to get credit and meet lending guidelines.  You’ll learn about programs available for homes that need a little work, which is important in today’s environment of short sales and bank owned (REO) homes, of which these are about 30% of our market sales today.

10am-12pm (noon); class held at RE/MAX Metro Realty office: 2312 Eastlake Ave E, Seattle WA 98102
