Having just had to clear out and then replace a sewer line last week (oh fun for me and my wallet!) this latest article from Inman News caught my attention regarding an addition to an older home and whether or not the current side sewer could handle the additional rooms and bath. We’ve been recommending sewer scope inspections to clients buying properties but, as an owner, you should also check periodically to make sure you’re not about to have a back up like I just had.
