Max Prinsen joined us last week to discuss Shadow Habitat located in unincorporated King County.  Shadow Habitat is 97 acres of peat bog located on Shadow Lake.  This habitat was started as a conservation area for inner city kids to be able to get out in nature and experience all that it has to offer, while being close to home.

Shadow has a boardwalk that will take you directly into the middle of the peat bog and an education center where approximately 1600-1700 kids that come through on a annual basis.
