On this week’s show we will be joined by Mara Fiksdal from Communities in Schools of Renton . We’ll talk about their mentoring program that helps youths get on track to graduate and stay on track. They are part of the nation’s leading dropout prevention organization, working in public schools to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. In Renton last year, their site coordinators helped 7,949 students overcome barriers to success, stay on track to graduate, and aim for a brighter future.
