Tomorrow on ‘Open House’: Steve Abercrombie, Sustainable Building Science Technology

Tomorrow on ‘Open House’, Reba and Eric welcome Steve Abercrombie, a member of South Seattle College Faculty in Sustainable Building Science & Technology, and the owner of Connected Buildings.

We’ll be discussing healthy homes, energy efficiency, value certifications, and other trends in Green building including stormwater and landscaping which are of particular interest to a lot of Seattle homeowners.

Steve is a consultant and educator with a focus on technology and sustainability in building design, construction and operations. Steve has over a decade of experience working on projects worldwide including commercial office, retail, hospitality, and multifamily. Steve has consulted on hundreds of buildings, and served as a LEED Reviewer for the US Green Building Council for hundreds more.

As the owner of Connected Buildings, Steve provides technical advisory and quality assurance for a number of green projects with a focus on digital technology and smart building applications. Steve is also a member of the faculty in South Seattle College’s Sustainable Building Science Technology program. Steve and his wife are also real estate investors in the South Sound region.
