Take a sneak peek inside green homes and meet the experts in green building techniques and resources at the 8th annual NW Green Home Tour on Saturday, April 28th and Sunday, April 29th. The 2018 tour highlights a Tiny Home Village solution to homelessness, mobile Tiny Homes and trailers, Passive House Single and Multifamily projects, Built Green â„¢ homes from 3-Stars to Emerald Star certifications, and other homes with water conservation and renewable energy, in the greater Seattle area.
This inspiring event is the only tour to feature Seattle’s first multifamily Passive House, Zero Energy new construction, various backyard DADU (detached accessory dwelling unit) designs, a deep green community outside of Yakima, lots of remodels, plus various green businesses; a local ecofriendly furniture maker, solar experts, green building commercial and residential materials specialists and green real estate company. The Tour offers projects at various scales and resources for every budget.
Many of the homes include advanced building techniques, solar panels, rainwater harvesting, natural landscaping, water and energy conservation, reused and repurposed building materials, and much more. Architects, designers, contractors and homeowners will be available to share their insights and answer your questions.
