Last week we had Lilia from Merrill Gardens – Renton Centre back in studio with us to give us an update on how their Auction and Dinner event to benefit Puget Sound Honor Flight had gone. Due to an amazing outpour of donations and support at their event benefitting Puget Sound Honor Flight, they are able to sponsor 14 more veterans to make their trip to our nations capital.
Reba and Eric also rose up to the challenge and both will be donating to sponsor a veteran themselves. Good work guys!
Puget Sound Honor Flight’s MISSION : To transport our heroes on “One Last Mission” ”“ a trip to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at the memorials built in their honor. This trip is free to the veteran, and made possible solely through individual donations and corporate support ”“ NO Federal funds are allocated to this program. With the hard work and dedication of Honor Flight hubs throughout the U.S., and their communities, over 100,000 veterans have made this cathartic journey.
